Apart from being an awesome smarthphone in itself it can convert into a desktop, laptop and HD home entertainment center!
For many of us geeks, the most exciting part is how this phone, thanks to android's linux core becomes a traditional linux desktop with a full firefox browser and other goodies. It's a bit limiting now, because of the hardware, but in a year or 2 it should be as fast as your current computer and be able to handle many more apps (either web based or native).
Flash 10.1 is still a bit slow sometimes, but this should be solved by v10.2 (which is optimized to use GPU power, specially with Nvidia hardware).
So is Microsoft or Apple a "little" worried? HELL YEAH!
Other companies are looking at linux solutions, modifying it to their needs, innovating and creating great products people desire!
This is definitely the future of personal mobile computing and will become the trend to follow, many other OEMs are probably already looking at ways to jump in after seeing this!
