A smartphone, powerful enough to be used as a computer.
Apart from being an awesome smarthphone in itself it can convert into a desktop, laptop and HD home entertainment center!
For many of us geeks, the most exciting part is how this phone, thanks to android's linux core becomes a traditional linux desktop with a full firefox browser and other goodies. It's a bit limiting now, because of the hardware, but in a year or 2 it should be as fast as your current computer and be able to handle many more apps (either web based or native).
Flash 10.1 is still a bit slow sometimes, but this should be solved by v10.2 (which is optimized to use GPU power, specially with Nvidia hardware).
So is Microsoft or Apple a "little" worried? HELL YEAH!
Other companies are looking at linux solutions, modifying it to their needs, innovating and creating great products people desire!
This is definitely the future of personal mobile computing and will become the trend to follow, many other OEMs are probably already looking at ways to jump in after seeing this!

Tablets will not kill netbooks says Intel and Toshiba
"Netbook / laptop users are work oriented and create the vast majority of the content, while tablet users just want to consume it."
Confirmed both Toshiba and Intel Spain, during a press conference.
Both formats are growing and tablets are just in their infancy, so expect massive growth next year.
However, this growth doesnt mean that one is going to kill the other.
"Tablets will cannibalize on 10 or 15% of the netbook market, but thats pretty much it."
Each have their uses and there is good demand for both.
Toshiba is planning on launching new tablets with the successful Android, as well as netbooks / ultrathins with google's new Chrome OS and other OSs next year.

This is awesome news for the internet and web technologies (like html5). Giving back the power to the world wide web. Think Web 3.0 :)

New 7zip released. Open .7z and .tar.gz in windows, mac and linux
The Best compressor program 7zip, has finally released a new version 9.20
It's been quite a wait, but the last version was pretty perfect, so it does take quite while to make perfect into perfecterrr :) this new release is packed with new features, speeds improvements, EVEN MORE comparability and bug fixes.
7zip handles everything you throw at it. You can even open popular linux .tar.gz archives in windows
compressing in .7z is better than compressing in .zip, but both are supported.
i usually attach this program (its just 1mb !) to my friends along with the compressed files in .7z
